Professor Manlio Graziano published an article entitled "Towards a Geopolitics of Democracy" on as well as on the Eurasian Review of Geopolitics . Looking at the democratic process through the lens of geopolitics, Professor Graziano advocates for a systematic study of the reciprocal influence of geopolitics and democracy. He predicts that the recent phenomena of the Arab Spring and of the acceleration of the European integration process may prompt that approach. The people that I met at AGS will remain my friends forever, despite the fact that they are now all over the world. I know each one of my professors personally and keep in touch with them. I don't think that I would ever have been as involved in my grad school if I had gone to a larger institution.
