ALIP鈥檚 teaching approach is based on developing effective, modern, and practical communication skills in French or English. Language practice in academic and professional contexts, along with immersion in a respectful and inclusive multicultural environment, are the core principles of its instruction.

Our Educational Objectives

Through a communicative, interactive, and learner-centered approach, ALIP offers language courses built around four complementary objectives:

1. General Language Skills
Courses aim to strengthen communication skills in everyday situations, both spoken and written. All instruction is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and is supported by detailed pedagogical programs.

2. Academic Methodology
Students develop essential skills for academic success, including:

鈥 Learning strategies
鈥 Effective note-taking
鈥 Written and oral presentations
鈥 Academic work methodology

3. Cultural Dimension
Language learning is enriched through exposure to Francophone and Anglophone cultures via intercultural activities, visits, lectures, and events that foster cultural awareness.

4. Professional and Specialized Language
Courses provide a first immersion into the French- or English-speaking professional world through small-group work, practical and motivating projects, and the exploration of specialized themes and professional vocabulary.

Teaching Methodology

ALIP language courses are structured according to CEFR levels and designed to reflect each student鈥檚 needs, objectives, and motivation.
Using an active and communicative approach, instructors offer a wide range of activities focused on:

鈥 Written and oral comprehension and expression
鈥 Interaction
鈥 Communication strategies
鈥 Engagement in cultural and civic life

Assessment and Certifications

ALIP instructors are official examiners for the TCF and TEF French language tests.

Continuous Assessment and Validation of Learning Outcomes
Assessments are conducted throughout the program to ensure consistent progress and to adapt instruction to students鈥 needs. Each course also includes a final evaluation.
At the end of the program, students receive a certificate of completion, detailing their results, progress, and CEFR level.

Student Support and Guidance

The academic and administrative teams welcome students, provide guidance, and offer ongoing support throughout their stay.
Quality review meetings are scheduled regularly to ensure student progress and satisfaction. The team also assists students with administrative procedures, academic pathway planning, and provides information on cultural activities. Regular pedagogical meetings ensure close, individualized academic follow-up.
