On September 15th - 19th, Dr. Douglas Yates travelled to Cape Town, South Africa, upon the invitation of the Center for Conflict Resolution, to participate in a conference on China in Africa. The people that I met at AGS will remain my friends forever, despite the fact that they are now all over the world. I know each one of my professors personally and keep in touch with them. I don't think that I would ever have been as involved in my grad school if I had gone to a larger institution.
