Dr. Habibi Contributes to a History Textbook for a National US Education Program

Dr. Mariam Habibi collaborated in the writing of a history textbook on Iran, entitled Iran Through the Looking Glass: History, Reform, and Revolution which has just been published.
It is part of a U.S. national education program called designed to introduce international content into the secondary school curriculum. This program is ran by Brown University's Watson Institute for International Studies, which was established in 1985 to analyze contemporary global problems and develop initiatives to address them.

Dr. Mariam Habibi gave a paper on the Franco-Iranian diplomacy in the French Senate, during a conference on Iran run by the Institut Europ茅en de Recherches Strat茅giques sur l'Iran (IERSI) in December 2007. Her paper was based on her book entitled L'Interface France-Iran: une Diplomatie Voil茅e (a veiled diplomacy) which was published in 2004 by , with a foreword by French historian and professor at Pierre Milza.

The people that I met at AGS will remain my friends forever, despite the fact that they are now all over the world. I know each one of my professors personally and keep in touch with them. I don't think that I would ever have been as involved in my grad school if I had gone to a larger institution.
