Sélection des étudiants
AUE-FON est responsable de la présélection des étudiants, sur la base de leurs résultats académiques et de leur motivation à intégrer le programme de double diplôme. AGS est responsable de la sélection finale.
Les étudiants inscrits au programme de double diplôme doivent se conformer à l’ensemble des règles académiques et administratives de l’AGS pendant leur scolarité au sein de cet établissement.

Les étudiants présélectionnés par AUE-FON doivent soumettre à l’AGS, dans le cadre de leur candidature, les documents suivants :
i. une lettre de motivation de 500 à 1 000 mots permettant au comité d’admission d’évaluer les objectifs, la motivation et l’aptitude du candidat à suivre des études de niveau graduate ;
ii. le formulaire de candidature de l’AGS dûment complété ;
iii. les relevés de notes officiels des études universitaires antérieures ;
iv. un curriculum vitae actualisé ;
v. le cas échéant, un score officiel à un test d’anglais standardisé (TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC ou équivalent). À défaut, le comité d’admission se réserve le droit d’exiger un exercice écrit complémentaire.

AGS Paris – SEEU (Tetovo)

Within the framework of an academic partnership agreement concluded between the ¹ú²ú ¸£Àû ¸ßÇå in Paris (AGS Paris) and the South East European University in Tetovo (SEEU, North Macedonia), a joint framework has been established for third-cycle (doctoral) studies.

This agreement provides for a structured and integrated doctoral pathway, enabling doctoral candidates to complete the majority of their doctoral training at AGS Paris, before finalizing their studies at SEEU.


Structure of the Doctoral Pathway

• Phase 1 (24 months – 120 ECTS)

Doctoral candidates complete the first two years of their doctoral programme at AGS Paris, either:
• on-site in Paris, or
• through distance/online learning.

This phase covers academic coursework, applied research activities, and the structuring of the doctoral dissertation, within the framework of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme offered by AGS Paris.


• Phase 2 (3 to 6 months – 60 ECTS)

Doctoral candidates then continue their programme at SEEU (Tetovo, North Macedonia) for a period of three to six months, in order to:
• finalize their research work,
• fulfill local academic requirements,
• prepare for and complete the doctoral examination and thesis defense procedures.

The overall doctoral pathway represents a total workload of 180 ECTS credits, in accordance with European standards for third-cycle (doctoral) studies.


Degrees Awarded

Upon successful completion of the programme and subject to validation of the respective academic requirements, doctoral candidates are awarded:
• the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree conferred by AGS Paris, and
• a Doctor of Economic Sciences (State-recognized PhD) conferred by SEEU, according to the selected specialization:
o Economics (PhD-EC-180), or
o Business Administration (PhD-BE-180).

The doctoral degrees awarded by SEEU constitute officially recognized State PhD degrees, fully compliant with the European LMD (Bachelor–Master–Doctorate) framework and ECTS system, and are recognized at the international level.


Objective of the Partnership

The purpose of this agreement is to offer selected doctoral candidates an international doctoral pathway that combines:
• the academic and professional expertise of AGS Paris, and
• the awarding of a State-recognized PhD degree by a legally accredited university.

This partnership aims to enhance the academic and professional employability of graduates, while ensuring a high level of scientific rigor and institutional quality.

The Postdoctoral Certificate in Business Administration (PCBA) is an advanced, research-oriented program designed for doctorate holders aiming to enhance their publication record, expand their academic visibility, and strengthen their engagement with international research networks.

The International Research Track, hosted and operated by the ¹ú²ú ¸£Àû ¸ßÇå in Paris (AGS), provides an opportunity to pursue postdoctoral research within a European and transatlantic academic environment, emphasizing Francophone and international scientific publication.

This track complements AGS’s long-standing academic focus on international relations, diplomacy, and global governance, offering a bridge between international business, global policy, and cross-cultural management.

The PCBA is coordinated by ISCTE Executive Education (Lisbon, Portugal), and includes a parallel Asian Research Track operated in collaboration with HKU SPACE – Hong Kong University School of Professional and Continuing Education.

Program Structure

The PCBA is a three-year postdoctoral program combining advanced research seminars, personalized supervision, and publication mentoring.

In partnership with American University (AU) in Washington, D.C., the ¹ú²ú ¸£Àû ¸ßÇå in Paris offers a dual program option allowing you to earn two US-accredited Master’s degrees over the course of three years:

  • A Master of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy at AGS in Paris, France

  • A Master of International Service in the International Studies Track (MIS-IST) at American University in Washington, DC, USA, (either on-campus or online)

Paris and Washington, D.C. being two of the world’s most important political capitals, both offering invaluable resources and networking opportunities, this dual program provides the ideal combination for the study of international affairs.

Organization of the partnership program

The first two years of this dual program are spent in Paris, at AGS, completing the requirements for the M.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy.

The third year is spent completing the MIS-IST program at American University's School of International Service (SIS), either on campus, in Washington, D.C. or online.

Through the partnership between the two institutions, AU accepts up to 12 credits based on previous coursework at AGS to count toward its 30-credit degree requirement, so that you only have to complete an additional 18 credits in residence at AU in order to obtain AU’s MIS degree after successfully completing AGS’s degree.

Description of the M.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy

The curriculum of the M.A. in International Relations and Diplomacy teaches the cornerstone theories that explain interactions between countries, and also examines current world affairs through the various lenses of international relations: political, diplomatic, economic, environmental, cultural, and social. A range of area electives supplements this global approach allowing each student to gear the program towards his or her field of interest and professional goals.

Courses take place at AGS in Paris. They are taught in English and follow the American system of higher education while taking advantage of the school’s location in France, with guest speakers and visits to embassies, international organizations headquartered in Paris and European Union institutions. No knowledge of French language is necessary to attend. Students have the opportunity to take French courses along with the program (see more information here).

Small seminar-style classrooms allow for close dialogue with professors and offer a forum for debate. The students and faculty in the program come from diverse national backgrounds, each adding a different perspective to the subjects taught.

Description of the M.A. in International Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR)

The International Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) degree offers an innovative curriculum giving students a sophisticated understanding of today’s international issues by bridging the various sub-disciplines of this emerging field: human rights, international law and organizations, mediation and conflict transformation, public health issues, economic development, and environmental sustainability.

The coursework provides strong theoretical and analytical foundations and is complemented with hands-on experiences, including travels to key sites of the history of international conflict, and an internship allowing students to gain professional practice while developing a network of useful contacts.

Courses take place at Arcadia University in the United States, in Glenside, in the greater Philadelphia area (Pennsylvania). The faculty and staff at the International Peace and Conflict Resolution Department are committed to addressing the individual needs of each student, and work closely with them to make every component of the program fit their interests and career goals.

After completing the coursework for the Master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy at AGS, Master's students at AGS have the opportunity to apply to AGS's partner program at the Law School of Cergy-Paris Université. This option allows students to earn two complementary Master's degrees over the course of three years:

  • A U.S.-accredited M.A. (Master of Arts) in International Relations and Diplomacy

  • A Europe-accredited LL.M. (Master of Laws) in French & European Union Law, with a specialization in Taxation Law, Business Law and Compliance

In addition, students in this program earn a Certificate in Anglo-American Law from AGS.

Program Description

Preparatory courses in Law

In order to be eligible for the LL.M. program, students who do not have a legal background are required to take four preparatory courses while pursuing their M.A. coursework at AGS:

  • Introduction to Common Law

  • American Tort Law

  • American Contract Law

  • American Criminal Law

Students who successfully complete these four preparatory courses earn a Certificate in Anglo-American Law from AGS. Near completion of these preparatory courses and the AGS degree, qualified students may start the application process to the LL.M. program at Cergy-Paris Université.

LL.M. in French & European Union Law at Cergy-Paris Université 

The LL.M. program is a one-year full time program. Courses are taught in English. They take place on the Cergy-Paris Université campus, in Cergy-Pontoise, in the greater Paris area (accessible by public transportation from the center city).

The LL.M. in French & European Union Law at Université de Cergy-Pontoise provides specialized knowledge for students preparing to work for or in relation with Intergovernmental Organizations, NGOs, European institutions, and international corporations.

The faculty in the LL.M. program is composed of both academics and law professionals. In some cases, seminars are taught by and within international law firms based in Paris. Through this setting, the program provides its students with a network of contacts among the international legal community in Paris.

  • A Europe-accredited Master's degree in Diplomacy and Strategic Negotiation

Master in Diplomacy and Strategic Negotiation at Université Paris Saclay 

The Master in Diplomacy and Strategic Negotiation at Université Paris-Saclay is a one-year program. It takes place in Sceaux, in the greater Paris area, one of the campuses of Université Paris-Saclay.

The objective of the Master's program at Paris-Saclay is to provide students with the necessary knowledge and practical tools to develop strategies of negotiation in diplomacy, which can be applied to both the public and the private sector.

The coursework covers subjects in international law, economics, and political science. It includes seminars, negotiation working groups, occasional guest speakers, and a mock international negotiation exercise. 

Eligibility into the Additional Program Option at Université Paris-Saclay

To be eligible into the Master in Diplomacy and International Negotiation at Université Paris-Saclay, AGS students must meet the following conditions:

  • Be in good academic standing at AGS, with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

  • Have attained an advanced level of French (C1)

Students who are interested in pursuing this option must first apply to AGS for approval by the school's Academic Committee. While the program at Université Paris-Saclay is highly selective and admits only approximately 40 students out of the 600-800 applications that it receives each year, AGS applicants who meet the conditions listed above will be granted an interview with the program directors. However, please note that admission into the program at Paris-Saclay is not automatically granted, even to those who have been approved by AGS.
